My work includes large-scale gelatin-silver prints and archival pigment prints. I do my own analog and digital printing. For fifteen years I made still life images of specimens collected and preserved for scientific study. Since 2008, propelled by an initial commission for “The Poetic Dialogue Project," I have been working with poets to create image/text pieces that are photo-based and incorporate drawing, painting, and software artifacts. I have found cross-disciplinary collaboration a transformative process that has moved me into new conceptual and visual territory.
